In the Spring of 2024, our high school youth muralists sought to utilize visual art as a way to transform a space at Watsonville Charter School of the Arts into a colorful reading area in collaboration with the Live Like Coco Foundation who will be assisting with creating an outdoor Little Library project that features a Book Mobile. The mural is meant to inspire young readers to keep reading, keep loving, and keep learning.
